The pipe connector has a housing (6) with a proximal opening (16) and a distal opening (14). An internal support body (36) is arranged within the housing. Another internal support body (38) is arranged within the housing. The former internal support body on its outer side and the latter internal support body on its inner side have units for sealing connection of the internal support bodies. The internal support bodies are made of plastic. The housing has other units for radial pressing of the former internal support body with the latter internal support body. An independent claim is included for a system with two pipe ends, which are made of polyethylene material.
