The method involves forming and digitalizing narrowband signals from the pulses of pulse trains and determining the time interval values (17) between the digitalized- and scanned narrowband signals. The measuring signals detected in an examination unit (10) are scanned and digitalized, and the existing measuring values (16) are assigned to the time interval values. The scanning of the narrowband signals and the scanning of the measuring signals (14) are related to a common time base. An independent claim is included for a device for time-resolved measurement of sampled signals generated in examination objects after stimulation by pulses and after scanning with temporally successive pulses.
