Method for liquefying hydrogen-rich exertion fraction from natural gas in refrigeration apparatus, involves evaporating fraction in stage of exchange process, where stage is implemented in straight-tube- or spirally wound heat exchanger
The method involves performing cooling and liquefaction of hydrogen-rich feed fraction during a two-stage heat exchange process. The fraction is cooled against overheated gaseous nitrogen in a first stage of the process such that heavy components are completely separated. The fraction is partially condensed in the first stage until a maximum temperature difference of 30 kelvin is reached. The fraction is evaporated against liquid or biphasic nitrogen in a second stage of the process, where the second stage is implemented in a straight-tube- or a spirally wound heat exchanger.
