The component has an electrical connector (1) comprising a flexible circuit board (3) and two stared contact pins (4). An end section (5) of the contact pins is soldered on a connecting surface (6) of the circuit board by surface mount device (SMD) technology. The contact pins extend parallel to an extension plane of the circuit board in a region of the connecting surface. Another end section (7) of the contact pins projects above the circuit board such that the latter end section stands in solder-free electrical contact with a connection portion of an electrical or electronic component. An independent claim is also included for a printed circuit board arrangement.
