NMR method for e.g. magnetic resonance spectroscopy, involves receiving radio frequency signals emitted by reference object as reference signal along with measurement signal in simultaneous and parallel manner

The method involves producing magnetic field in an investigation volume (2), and receiving radio frequency signals emitted by an investigation object (7) i.e. probe, in the investigation volume as measurement signal. Another set of radio frequency signals emitted by a reference object (8) located in the investigation volume is received as reference signal along with the measurement signal in a simultaneous and parallel manner. The magnetic field produced in the investigation volume fluctuates as function of time. The investigation and the reference objects experience same magnetic field. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a NMR apparatus (2) a computer program comprising instructions for performing a NMR method.
