The method involves detecting transaction-dependent user input by input unit (7) of mobile terminal (5). The transaction code dependent on transaction-dependent user input including cash transaction is generated for detecting authorization of transaction of mobile terminal with POS terminal (1-3). The transaction code is made to represent the payment voucher whose value depends on the user input. The transaction code is detected and processed to perform transaction by the POS terminal. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a mobile terminal; (2) a POS terminal; and (3) system for performing cash transaction between POS terminal and mobile terminal.
