The transducer (19) has primary-side circuits (20), half-bridge circuit with switches (21,22) and LLC resonant circuit. A secondary-side circuit (30) is isolated electrically from the primary-side circuit. The secondary-side circuit is provided with output unit (35) for supplying power to lighting unit (5). A control device (14) is arranged in the primary-side circuit, to detect the error state at the output unit of the secondary-side circuit.
