The exhaust gas purification device (3) has several combustion chambers (5) connected on exhaust line (10). The chambers have a secondary air feed device (14) to the supply of fresh air in the exhaust pipes. The air feed device has several secondary ducts (15) which are connected to exhaust pipes. A cross-section adjustment device (18) is assigned at secondary ducts, for interrupting the flow connection between the feed line (16) and exhaust line. An independent claim is included for combustion engine arrangement.
