The robot (1) has a gas balloon (2) adjustable to realize a predetermined horizontal suspension height, and a controllable valve unit (3) closing one of an inlet/outlet of the balloon. A direction adjustable electromotive drive unit (4) is connected to the controllable valve unit for movement of the robot, where the valve unit is connectable with a drive equipment (5) i.e. measuring sensor. A control unit (6) is arranged in the valve unit for controlling the valve unit and the drive unit. An energy storage (7) is provided for operation of the valve unit, the control unit, and the drive unit.
