The device (1) has a bracket (3) made of glass fiber reinforced plastic components, where a covering (5) of an AdBlue(RTM: 32.5 percent aqueous urea solution) tank (7) is firmly bonded at the bracket and made of vertical and/or horizontally extending glass fiber reinforced plastic component layers. The bracket is connected with a frame of a motor car and designed as a multi-part retainer for retaining the covering. Two side pieces of the bracket partially cover the covering, where a back portion and the side pieces of the bracket are connected with the covering. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a fastening device.
