The casing has a reinforcing structure (11) stiffening with a flexible and fluid-tight skin part of an aircraft (1), and stiffening ribs (12) running along a main plane of the skin part in various directions. The stiffening ribs limit polygonal fields of the skin part, where the polygonal fields comprise multiple hexagonal fields that are arranged in a dense package next to each other. The reinforcing structure and the skin part are made of composite materials. The hexagonal fields are mixed in a cylinder-sleeve-shaped region of the casing with the polygonal fields. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a form-stable casing.
