The crossbar (12) has a coupling unit e.g. cables (14) for connecting a to-be tilted load (18) with attachment points (16). An operable drive unit (24) is arranged for varying length of connecting unit. The drive unit is attached with a rectangular shaped frame structure and is provided with a motor such as electric motor or internal combustion engine. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) apparatus for spatially aligning of hinged load with crossbar; and (2) method for spatially aligning of hinged load with crossbar.
