The device (10) has a focus unit (14) comprising a focus element (16), and a carrier unit (18) spacing a polygon-shaped induction heating conductor element (24) i.e. wound electric conductor, from the focus unit. The induction heating conductor element is partially arranged in a mounted state. The carrier unit comprises a form closure element (22), which is fastened at the induction heating conductor element. The carrier unit is firmly attached at a base body unit (12), and comprises two carrier elements (20) between which the focus element is arranged. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an induction heating device.
