Aluminum silicate glass comprises 0.1-2 wt.% of zirconium dioxide (ZrO 2), 4-15 wt.% of boron oxide (B 2O 3), 45-64 wt.% of silica (SiO 2), less than 10-28 wt.% of alumina (Al 2O 3), 9-20 wt.% of sodium oxide (Na 2O), 0-8 wt.% of potassium oxide (K 2O), 0-3.5 wt.% of magnesium oxide (MgO), 0-8 wt.% of phosphorus pentoxide (P 2O 5), 0-5 wt.% of barium oxide (BaO), 0-5 wt.% of strontium oxide (SrO), 0-5 wt.% of titania (TiO 2), 0-0.3 wt.% of cerium oxide (CeO 2), 0-0.05 wt.% of fluorine (F 2), 0-1 wt.% of tin oxide (SnO 2), and 0-1 wt.% of sulfur trioxide (SO 3).
