Latent curable coating composition comprises a resin-A (60-80 wt.%) including an epoxy resin and a cellulose derivative, and a hardener-B (20-40 wt.%) including a polyetheramine. Independent claims are included for: (1) a coating matrix obtained by hardening the latent curable coating composition; and (2) confining toxic waste for human health and/or environment, comprising preparing the coating composition by mixing the resin-A and hardener-B, introducing the obtained waste into the coating composition and stirring until the composition is hardened to obtain a solid block of waste.
