The device has two strap hinges (A1, A2) connected to one another by flat stiffeners (1, 2). A vertical hinge joint (6) connects a side part of one of the hinges to a cross-piece (8) of a door leaf (9) by bolts (10), and connects a side part of the other hinge with an elbow (A3) that is provided at 90 degrees with respect to the door leaf. The cross-piece is followed by another elbow (A4) provided at 90 degrees in the direction of the continuity of the side part of the hinge while ending in an eye (3).
