The carrier (4) has a lower frame (8) comprising a plate (10) provided with a central notch (13) and a related insert (16), where the insert is made of plastic material. The notch and the insert comprise complementary contours. The insert is provided with fixing units for removably fixing the insert on the frame. The fixing units are provided in a form of legs to attach with a face of the lower frame. The notch in rectangular shape extends partly on rear edge (12) of the frame. The insert is integrated with a lamp. An independent claim is also included for a bicycle.
