The lock (1) has two traffic barriers (3) movable in translation so as to be folded in direction of movement of loads. Each of two gates (4) is attached to a post (2). The traffic barriers and the gates are arranged with a movement transmitting unit for transmitting movement to cause rotation of the gates, and to cause translation of the barriers. The gates are closed when the barriers are folded, and the gates are opened when the barriers are deployed.
