The kit has a connecting structure (1) for a backrest of a seat, and a case (2) intended to be mounted in vertical sliding motion on the structure. The case is equipped with a blocking device (3) reversible in sliding motion. A support cushion (6) is intended to be mounted on the case so as to carry out a headrest model (7). An adjustment system adjusts a longitudinal position of the cushion intended to be mounted between the case and another support cushion so as to carry out another headrest model. The former cushion is in form of a cap to be fitted on the case.
