The present invention relates to a magneto-plasmonic element using a combination of layers including an optical guide and a magneto-optical layer to produce a non-reciprocal effect under the effect of a transverse magnetic field, comprising a structured network layer producing a non-reciprocal effect -reduced reciprocity. The geometry of this network layer may be chosen to obtain a chosen non-reciprocal value or even enhanced index and / or absorption, and also to obtain a non-reciprocal inverted absorption compared to an element comprising the same layer configuration without structuring. The invention further relates to a component comprising a plurality of magneto-plasmonic non-reciprocating elements thus modified, arranged on the same integrated component and subjected to the same magnetic field, and for example a ring resonance optical isolator or an optical circulator. It also relates to a method of manufacturing such an element or component, as well as a signal processing method using such an element or component.
