The cap (3) has a circumferential wall (31) surrounding a grinding disk, and a dust collecting cover (32) coupled to the circumferential wall to form a dust collecting chamber. The dust collecting chamber includes an upper portion (321) secured to a grinding machine tool, a dust outlet orifice (34) communicating with the dust collecting chamber, and an air flow guide (35) for guiding an air flow from the dust collecting chamber to the dust outlet orifice. The dust collecting chamber is formed with a height gradually decreasing from the upper portion toward the circumferential wall. An independent claim is also included for a grinding machine tool.
