The installation (2) has a pump (4) e.g. fuel piston pump such as petrol piston pump, and another pump (8) e.g. vane vacuum pump including respective moving parts (6), where one of the parts is a piston. An inlet shaft (12) is extended along longitudinal direction and adapted to drive the moving parts. The shaft is rotatably moved around an axis extending along the longitudinal direction, and carries a radial cam (14), which is adapted to drive one of the moving parts. A casing defines walls for the pumps and protects the shaft, and ensures sealing of the pumps. An independent claim is also included for a car engine.
