The device (1) has a depollution assembly (3) and a silencer (4) provided in a metallic casing i.e. right prismatic or cylindrical casing, where the assembly includes a cylindrical mixer (2) to homogenize exhaust gas, selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst of nitrogen oxides and a particle filter. The catalyst and the filter include a single filtering monolith with catalytic impregnation and adapted to selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides. A mouth of an introduction unit of a SCR reducer (5) is provided in upstream of the mixer. An independent claim is also included for a car.
