The method involves supervising, by a logic controller (20), operation of a slave controller i.e. battery controller (16) for controlling the operation of a battery for storing electric energy intended for the drive of a car. The transitions of the operating modes of the battery are controlled by the logic controller via the battery controller according to the operating mode of the car, where the battery controller prohibits the transition of the operating modes of the battery based on control from the logic controller. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a data recording medium storing a program for operating an electric architecture of an electric car (2) an electric architecture.
