The method involves setting a control signal to a high logic level to feed a maximum value of a supply voltage of an amplifying stage to an inductive antenna circuit. The control signal is set to a low logic level, so as to modulate the supply voltage of the amplifying stage. The setting of the control signal to the high logic level induces a 100 percent modulation of an antenna signal, and the setting of the control signal to the low logic level induces a lower than 10 percent modulation of the antenna signal. An independent claim is also included for a device for data transmission by inductive coupling.
