PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified polyolefin microporous membrane suitable as separators for lithium ion batteries, precision filter membranes, separators for capacitors, fuel cell materials, etc.;SOLUTION: A heat-resistant porous layer consisting of the following organic silicone particulates and an organic binder is formed on one surface or both surfaces of a polyolefin microporous membrane: organic silicone particulates: organic silicone particulates consisting of a polysiloxane crosslinked structure in which an overall hollow hemispherical contour formed, on a longitudinal sectional representation, by inner lesser minor arcs 11, outer greater minor arcs 21 covering the former, and ridge lines 31 spanning the respective ends of both is manifest in a state where the average value of widths between the respective ends of inner lesser minor arcs 11 (W1), the average value of widths between the respective ends of outer greater minor arcs 21 (W2), and the average value of heights of outer greater minor arcs 21 (H) are being confined respectively to ranges of 0.01-8 μm, 0.05-10 μm, and 0.015-8 μm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
