PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a varifocallength lens which achieves excellent optical performance by favorably correcting one-side blurring at each focal length position ranging from a wide angle end to a telephoto end, and to provide an imaging apparatus including the varifocallength lens, and a varifocallength lens adjustment method.;SOLUTION: Position detection means 6 detects a position of a component moving according to a change in focal length and outputs the position information of the component. On the basis of the position information, storage means 7 outputs information that provides an amount of movement of a correction lens group G2 in a direction orthogonal to an optical axis.
