PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overhead optical cable construction method capable of reducing workers and work time.;SOLUTION: An overhead optical cable construction method includes a step in which a tip end part 9a of an optical cable 9 extending from a cable drum 7 is fixed to an electric pole 3a which is a start point 1a in a wiring section 1 in which a plurality of electric poles 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 3f, and 3g are installed, a step in which the optical cable 9 delivered while the cable drum 7 is shifted in one direction along a wiring path toward an end point 1b from the start point 1a in the wiring section 1, and the optical cable 9 is fixed at every electric poles 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 3f, and 3g along the wiring path, and a step in which the optical cable 9 is fixed to the electric pole 3g which is the end point 1b of the wiring section 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
