PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide silica sol which hardly induces a resin to be decomposed or colored even when blended in the resin and which exhibits excellent dispersion stability to a dispersion medium.;SOLUTION: The dispersion silica sol is obtained by dispersing a silica colloidal particle in a polymerizable compound having an epoxy ring or in dicarboxylic anhydride. The silica colloidal particle contains a polyvalent metallic element M which is at least one selected from the group consisting of iron, aluminum, zinc, zirconium, titanium, tin and lead, the average content of which is 0.001-0.02 when shown as a M/Si molar ratio, which has the average primary particle diameter of 5-40 nm and the content of which in the outermost layer of the silica colloidal particle is 0-0.003 pieces per 1 nm2 surface area of the silica colloidal particle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
