PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether an object spot is a famous spot.;SOLUTION: In a famous spot determination device 1 which determines whether an object spot is a famous spot which is well-known nationwide, a support score calculation part 5 calculates support scores of respective place names based upon appearance frequencies of the respective place names included in the address of the object spot extracted from a group of documents, including names of object spots, in a document DB 8.
