PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a smooth insertion of a heat transfer tube into a tube hole.SOLUTION: This heat transfer tube insertion implement includes: a body part 2 inserted into an end part of a heat transfer tube; a moving part 3 arranged at the body part and movable along an inserting direction into the heat transfer tube at the body part; an elastic part 4 the diameter of which is deformed in a diametrically enlarged manner to more outside than an outer diameter of the body part as the moving part moves in one direction and the diameter of which is deformed in a diametrically reduced manner to less than the outer diameter of the body part as the moving part is moved in the other direction; a rotary part 5 arranged inside the body part, engaged with the moving part to move the moving part through the rotation of the rotary part 5; a tip 6 integrally arranged at the body part and having an apical surface extending outside from an end part of the heat transfer tube and formed as a tapered face 6a; and a fitting part 7 which is fitted into a fitting hole 6e formed at the apical surface of the tip part and forms a part of the tapered face and which has an operation hole 7b formed to have an inner diameter into which a tool for use in rotationally operating the rotary part can be inserted while rejecting an insertion of the rotary part.
