PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate subjective image quality at low encoding computation cost correspondingly to a change of a display environment and a change of an encoding condition.;SOLUTION: A subjective image quality estimation device comprises: a subjective image quality estimation section for decoding encoded data of video information to calculate an average code amount per pixel of decoded video information, a quantization parameter and a resolution and calculating a subjective image quality estimation value in the case of displaying the decoded video information on the basis of display environment data indicating a display environment which is selected arbitrarily; a quantization parameter prediction expression generation section for generating a quantization parameter prediction expression indicating a relation of the average code amount per pixel and the quantization parameter; a subjective image quality estimation value prediction expression generation section for generating a subjective image quality estimation value prediction expression indicating a relation of the subjective image quality estimation value per resolution and the quantization parameter; and a subjective image quality estimation value prediction section for calculating a prediction value for the subjective image quality estimation value of the video information in an encoding condition which is selected arbitrarily, while using the quantization parameter prediction expression and the subjective image quality estimation value prediction expression.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
