PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical alignment type liquid crystal aligning agent having suitability to printing and good electric properties while having high vertical aligning performance.;SOLUTION: The vertical alignment type liquid crystal aligning agent contains a polymer comprising at least one of an amic acid repeating unit and an imide repeating unit, and at least one epoxy-containing compound selected from the group consisting of compounds containing at least two epoxy groups within a molecule in the proportion of 1-50 pts.wt. of the epoxy-containing compound to 100 pts.wt. of the polymer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
