PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new model for a skin sensitization test which can be prepared for a short time and at low cost, has a favorable manipulability and can be stably cultured and a new chamber for the same and to provide a new method for testing skin sensitization in which effective parameters are set.;SOLUTION: A model for a skin sensitization test includes: a collagen vitrigel membrane chamber including a first chamber and a second chamber which are partitioned by a collagen vitrigel membrane; and a dendritic cell layer and an epidermal keratinocyte layer which are arranged on the collagen vitrigel membrane on the side of the first chamber, from the side of the collagen vitrigel membrane in this order and a fibroblast cell layer on the collagen vitrigel membrane on the side of the second chamber. A method for testing skin sensitization determines whether a material to be tested has skin sensitization or not and uses a material to be tested which has such a concentration that exhibits a cell survival rate of 60% or more.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
