A sports game control method and an on-line sports game providing method are provided to enable a game player to enjoy the more dynamic game by controlling both a game player having a ball and players not having the ball. One of the keyboard operation, mouse clicking and movement of a mouse is detected(200). According to movement of the mouse, the moved amount of the mouse is calculated(210). By using the keyboard operation, mouse clicking and the calculated moved amount of the mouse, the operation of players is controlled(220).
