PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of electromagnets for beam transport, while reducing the site area of an arrangement place, concerning a charged particle beam irradiation apparatus.;SOLUTION: A charged particle beam irradiation apparatus 1 having a plurality of irradiation chambers includes: a cyclotron that accelerates a proton beam; a first transport line that transports the proton beam which is delivered from the cyclotron; a plurality of second transport lines 12a, 12b that may be provided for each of plurality of irradiation chambers and further transports the proton beam of the first transport line to the respective irradiation chambers; and a connection line 13 that induces the beam from the first transport line to any one of the second transport lines 12a, 12b and also selectively switches the second transmission lines being induction places, wherein the plurality of the irradiation chambers may be radially disposed around the connection line 13, the connection line 13 has electromagnets that induce the beam, and a rotating mechanism that rotates the electromagnets, and the second transport line of the induction place may be switched by rotating the electromagnets.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
