PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve easiness and convenience in function selection, in a network relay device capable of realizing a plurality of functions.;SOLUTION: A network relay device 10 has a hardware configuration and a software configuration that can function as a plurality of function execution parts. When a USB memory 20 is attached to the network relay device 10, a function execution part to be implemented to the network relay device 10 is selected and decided depending on identification information allocated to the USB memory 20.
