PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tax management technology capable of accurately collecting taxes from a store in which selling/buying transactions with consumers are performed.;SOLUTION: In a tax management method, when performing a selling/buying transaction, a data management apparatus, acquires preceding transaction information from a consumer's portable storage device acquires present transaction information obtained by a present selling/buying transaction from a cash register, generates present point information based on the present transaction information, transmits the present transaction information and the present point information to the consumer's portable storage device, and transmits the acquired preceding transaction information and present transaction information to an authentication server via a communication network. The authentication server stores the received present transaction information in a storage part as consumer's collation waiting data, collates the received preceding transaction information with the consumer's preceding transaction information stored in the storage part as collation waiting data in the preceding transaction to authenticate the validity of the consumer's past transaction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
