PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-proof substrate material and an earthquake-proof wall structure using the same that make it possible to secure air permeability by eliminating the need for constructing an earthquake-resistant material and furring, and to fix securely the earthquake-proof substrate material even when earthquake-proof metallic materials are fixed on a column and others.;SOLUTION: The earthquake-proof substrate material comprises a substrate body part formed in a shape of nearly rectangular plate and numbers of backside protrusions that are integrally formed with the substrate body part on the approximately entire surface of the rear face in the substrate body part. The backside protrusions are 5-40 mm in external diameter or length/width, with the height from the rear side of the substrate body part of 5-40 mm, and each backside protrusion can be removed by fingers, and the tools such as a chisel and a driver.
