PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a processing load, and simplify an apparatus when an optical tomographic image including a concentration distribution of a fluorescent material is obtained.;SOLUTION: A measurement section irradiates a specimen with an excitation light. A measurement data of an obtained fluorescence intensity is acquired. When setting an initial value of an absorption coefficient of the fluorescent material based on the concentration distribution of the fluorescent material, an image processing section calculates a fluorescence intensity distribution based on the preset absorption coefficient and a diffusion coefficient of the specimen and compares the measurement data with a calculation result (ST1000-1080). If an error is not within a predetermined value, the absorption coefficient of a fluorescent material for causing the error to be within the predetermined is estimated by implementing an inverse problem calculation using a light diffusion equation by an optimization method. The fluorescence intensity distribution is calculated from the concentration distribution based on the absorption coefficient. The error is repetitively evaluated. The concentration distribution is acquired so as to cause the error to be within the predetermined value (ST1100-1180).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
