PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulase preparation having properties useful for use in biomass treatment. PSOLUTION: The composition has cellulase activity and is useful in biomass treatment. In particular, the composition has endoglucanase activity, cellobiohydrolase I activity, cellobiohydrolase II activity and -glucosidase activity and is obtained from Pestalotiopsis sp.
