Vector arithmetic unit and vector calculation method

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vector arithmetic unit for improving system performance while suppressing the increase of hardware amounts or the complexity of register control.;SOLUTION: The vector arithmetic unit includes: an arithmetic part having a register; an arithmetic unit for performing a vector arithmetic operation by using the data of the register; and a data buffer for storing arithmetic result data; and an arithmetic control part having an instruction issuing part for issuing a vector arithmetic instruction to the arithmetic part and a data buffer management part for storing data buffer management information. The instruction issuing part edits a second instruction to store arithmetic result data in the data buffer when the sequence of the first instruction and the second instruction is changeable based on the dependency of a plurality of instructions in the same register. The data buffer management part stores the information of the output destination register of the data buffer and the first instruction in the management information based on the second instruction. The arithmetic unit performs a vector arithmetic operation based on the second instruction, and outputs arithmetic result data.
