PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a refrigerant leakage determination device for accomplishing a refrigeration apparatus which does not give discomfort to a user even when humidity of ambient air is high, and to obtain a refrigerant leakage determination device for accomplishing a refrigeration apparatus in which no other device is made defective.;SOLUTION: The refrigerant leakage detection device comprises at least: ambient air component detection means for detecting components of ambient air; refrigerant leakage determination means for determining whether a refrigerant is leaked based on a detection result of the ambient air component detection means; and absolute humidity detection means for detecting absolute humidity of the ambient air. The higher the absolute humidity becomes, the shorter the time required for the determination becomes. Thus, by shortening the time required for the leakage determination in the case where the humidity of ambient air is high, the quantity of moisture bedewed on wall surfaces around a casing or on other devices can be reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
