PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach as a tag appropriate action information highly related to an electronic file.;SOLUTION: An apparatus includes a first processing unit 1 for performing association processing on the basis of a staying place, and a second processing unit 2 for performing association processing on the basis of an action content. The first processing unit 1 establishes the address of a user's foothold on the basis of the user's staying history, determines whether the time of creation or input of an input electronic file belongs to a period in which the user existed in the user's foothold address or to the period in which the user existed in an address other than the user's foothold, and tags the electronic file with action information of action taken during the determined period. The second processing unit 2 extracts words from the input electronic file and from the action content of the action information, calculates the similarity between the electronic file and the action information on the basis of the degree of matching between the extracted words, and tags the electronic file with action information whose similarity is at a threshold level or higher.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
