SOIL SCAPE FILTER FOR REDUCING COD AND BOD POLLUTANTS FROM THE HIGH STRENGTH INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER

The present invention provides a soil scape filter for reducing COD (chemical oxygen demand) and BOD (Biological oxygen demand) from high strength industrial wastewaters. The soil scape filter for treating the wastewaters having higher concentrations of COD and BOD pollution parameters is an advanced application of accelerating physical filtration of the solids while enhancing biodegradation of organic and bio-inactivation of toxic inorganic pollutants in a well separated, isolated eco-reactor having symbiotic relationships of micro-organisms and green plants, by augmenting process using specially developed mixed cultures of useful micro-organisms. This results in biological stabilization and fixation pollutants in the input-controlled ecosystem reactor. This treatment system is set to eliminate the population of harmful bacteria and enhance the quality of filtered water without any additional input or electricity requirement.
