PROCESS FOR SORPTION EXTRACTION OF PLATINUM (II) AND PLATINUM (IV)

The invention relates to analytical chemistry, particularly to sorption methods for extraction of platinum metals. The extraction of platinum (II) and/or platinum (IV) is carried out by modified sorbent from chloride solution. As sorbent silica gel, modified with tetradecylammonium nitrate is used. The extraction is carried out at pH 0.5-4.0 correspondingly with 0.1 M solution of NaCl. The use of the process in comparison with analogue gives the possibility to increase extraction efficiency of platinum, reducing the extraction time, particularly for platinum (IV) in 4 times.
