EARTHQUAKE-PROOF FRAME OF A BUILDING

The invention relates to civil engineering and can be used in construction of high-rise frame buildings in seismic regions. A frame of the building comprises columns and girders, at that part of the columns is placed horizontally, and the other part at angle =30° to the vertical axis, with formation of cells as hexagons in plan view, and the inclined columns have lengths multiple of the lengths of horizontal girders, at that/=n, where H length of the inclined column, h length of horizontal girder, and n can take values larger than 1. Seismic forces acting vertically are resolved to components that act along the columns, are directed in counter-opposite directions and form at specific sections of the building with alternation compression and extension forces. Those forces are much smaller compared to the value of seismic forces. Besides that, due to variation of the ratio of dimensions/it is possible to broaden substantially the variants of architectural design solutions for the building.
