The method includes the step of providing queries to a customer which relate to a garden design. One of the queries relates to a type (e.g. shape, theme, etc.) of the garden design. The method further includes the step of obtaining responses to the queries provided to the customer. Computational means can determine at least one garden template based upon the obtained responses.
