Disclosed are a method and equipment for distinguishing indoor business data from outdoor business data, relating to the field of communication. Indoor data and outdoor data are separated through a certain threshold. The method provided by the embodiment of the invention comprises: acquiring business data of a network service cell, wherein each piece of business data contains a received signal measured value and location information; enabling each piece of the business data to be corresponding to one network grid according to the location information of the business data; confirming a received signal threshold value of each network grid according to the corresponding received signal measured value and a corresponding received signal theoretical value in each network grid, wherein the received signal theoretical value of each network grid is a received signal value in each network grid acquired according to a communication model; and distinguishing the indoor business data from the outdoor business data of each network grid according to the received signal threshold value of each network grid and a corresponding received signal measured value corresponding to each network grid.
