A device provided to be used, together with commercially available tools for milling grooves of various shapes and sizes inside holes of various shapes and sizes, allowing it to be applied to any machine tool such as, for example but not exclusively, to a machining centre which, in order to carry out machining operations, including tool changes, requires the locking of the tools in a predetermined position. The device is provided with means (12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19) adapted to lock such tools in said predetermined position.
